Erin was first introduced to yoga at the age of 19, via an Iyengar class in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since then, she has experimented with various styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Bikram, Anusara, and Ashtanga. She currently maintains a daily Ashtanga practice and considers yoga to be a lifestyle more than anything else. Erin has studied with Tim Miller, Richard Freeman, Eddie Stern, Edwin Bryant, Guta Hedewig, Roger Cole and various other teachers. She is a 200 & 500 RYT and has also completed teacher trainings with Tim Miller & Richard Freeman. Erin is already extensively educated in human anatomy and physiology and she is currently furthering her study of anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff at the Breathing Project in Manhattan.
Her classes include unique & fun vinyasa transitions with an emphasis on alignment. She is fascinated with the power and beauty that can be created by linkage of the breath, pose & mind. She also teaches chanting, restorative poses and pranayama in her classes. She is enthusiastic to share with others the many fruits that come with this practice.
